Wisconsin Whitetails Unlimited chapter loses longtime friend with Gary Magnus passing

Northwest Wisconsin’s hunting community, and especially Whitetails Unlimited, lost a friend and supporter with the passing of Gary Magnus, 72, of Spooner.
Magnus lived and breathed hunting of all types. He got a Whitetails Unlimited chapter going, and going strong, in Washburn County more than 30 years ago when he helped form the Northwest Wisconsin WTU Chapter. Magnus’s signature, old, faded yellow WTU hat was even on display at his funeral visitation.
