Notes off a soiled cuff: Thoughts on Pennsylvania’s Deer Management Assistance Program

We have heard so much anger expressed by hunters in the weeks since the Game Commission announced that it is, for the first time, issuing Deer Management Assistance Program tags in state game lands to harvest more does to allow forests to regenerate.
The angry hunters believe there are already too few deer on most tracts of public land.
