Exercising bird dog breeds via “water work” is great for keeping or getting a canine in shape for the hunting season.
What the activity should not experience, however, is for a dog to become ill even to death by the activity. And yet both of those possibilities exist should a dog be endangered through the ingestion of what’s commonly called “blue-green” algae.
