Minnesota’s turkey harvest report indicates spring, fall success

The permits issued this year aren’t too far off the 2020 year, so there’s optimism that hunters are continuing to hunt since the pandemic. The Minnesota DNR finalized its 2022-23 turkey harvest report last week. The report showed the second-highest harvest numbers for both fall and spring since the state’s modern turkey hunt began.
There are many factors to the success rate for hunters, but the biggest question for turkey experts is, can the success continue for the future?
