The thermometer might have suggested “summer,” but the fall hunting season was at the forefront of the minds of the 550 guests estimated to be gathered for the first-ever “Gala for a Century” held at the Sioux Falls Convention Center on June 3. The event was hosted by the Second Century Habitat Fund, a nonprofit organization established in 2019 to advocate for habitat development related to pheasant hunting in South Dakota.
