Minnesota DNR offers Memorial Day weekend recreation options

More than 30 Minnesota state parks offer rentals, including canoes, kayaks, and stand-up paddleboards. In addition, state parks are home to hundreds of lakes. (Stock photo)

In time for the Memorial Day weekend, the Minnesota DNR is highlighting recreational opportunities at state parks, trails, and recreation areas throughout the state.

The DNR’s summer activities guide is a great place to start planning a state parks and trails adventure.
