Steve Carney: With fishing electronics, double your pleasure

Carney needed a way to better see his maps and sonar while fishing. One 9-inch electronics unit was not good enough when in split-screen mode. So now he has two 9-inchers, and life is good. (Photo by Steve Carney)

As anglers like me get older, our eyes aren’t what they used to be. Because of that, I’ve gradually increased the size of my electronics over the years, from 5-inch screens to now using screens in the 9-inch size. It still wasn’t what I liked, so I now have two 9-inch screens on my boat.
