Commentary: Memories of Bud Grant as a friend of wildlife and a conservationist

It was January 1985 when my wife, Ethelle, and I stopped at the parking lot of the Bramadero Restaurant in Liberia, Costa Rica. We had spent the day birding at the Palo Verde National Wildlife Refuge. As we got out of our vehicle, we were delighted to encounter another party of Minnesota travelers, including Bud Grant.
