Pennsylvania’s Matt Van Cise enhances his turkey-calling legend status

Van Cise yelped, clucked and purred to a blowout victory, finishing 25 points (777.5-752.5) ahead of runner-up J.R. Lanham, of Missouri, a margin virtually unheard of in competitive calling. 
Past champions Dave Owens, of Georgia, and Jesse Martin, of Kentucky, were third and fourth, respectively.

Mike Rowe’s ‘Dirty Jobs’ explores deer urine business in Anna, Illinois

Eight months after the reality television show “Dirty Jobs” made a visit to southern Illinois, the episode showcasing host Mike Rowe’s day of work at J & S Scents in Anna aired in late January.
Rowe and a crew of 18 visited the Union County business on April 14 of last year, spending six or seven hours filming what would become a 20- to 25-minute segment for the Discovery Channel.
