The ice is long gone and water temps will hopefully be warming soon on the area lakes. The crappies have started moving from their wintering holes and staging to make a run to the spring feeding/spawning areas. With the cold weather and water temps, our best presentations have been getting the bait just above the fish and barely moving it, the bites have been very soft and slow but with patience, you can catch plenty. The water on Mississippi Pool 2 is high and fast so we have been focused on the lakes.
