NORTHWESTERN LP Traverse City Area A few salmon are still being caught in East and West Grand Traverse bays. Dodgers and flies or spoons trolled 65 feet down over 150 feet of water are catching fish. Largemouth bass fishing has been very good on Big Platte Lake. Anglers dragging nightcrawlers under bobbers and casting crankbaits and tubes report good action.

EASTERN UP Pickford Area Herring are hitting at the mouth of the St. Marys River around Drummond Island and Lime Island, and anglers are dialing in on a hot bite.
