St. Lawrence River: Post-spawn bass should be available, and northern pike action should be solid. But we haven’t heard much of late. Black Lake: Fishing has been good of late, despite the weather.

Beaverkill and Willowemoc: Above normal flows at last look. There are some Caddis, small BWOs and some Light Cahills around at dark. Nymphs and streamers have also worked well. Nymphs in smaller sizes will prove more productive.  Delaware East Branch: Somewhat spotty hatches with Sulphurs, small Olives and Caddis about, generally late in the day. 

The weather pattern has kept bass from moving into their summer patterns, and fishing activity has been low of late with the rainy weather. As a result, we’re not hearing much from the east of Hudson reservoir anglers.
