Central New York Fishing Report – December 26th, 2014

Oswego River: Anglers were still getting some nice brown trout and steelhead and good baits have been pink trout worms, egg sacs, trout beads and white jigs.

Salmon River: Flows were up at last look. Though steelhead were scattered throughout the river, most of the activity has been taking place in the upper river with the higher flows.

Oneida Lake: The shore walleye bite has been slowly winding down over the last few weeks, but when conditions allow anglers were still getting them on stick baits.

Sodus Bay: Yellow perch were being taken in the deeper areas of the bay by anglers fishing small minnows.
