South Central Pennsylvania Fishing Report – July 4th, 2014

Susquehanna River — As of June 21, Koinonia Guide Service reported the bass bite was below average, but numbers of channel catfish up to 25 inches were released on punch bait, and flatheads up to 9-plus pounds were released on live baits.

Little Juniata River (Huntingdon County) — Slightly high, off-color conditions reported June 22 called for streamers and nymphs. TCO Fly Shop reported slate drakes were expected to hatch start, and olive green caddis nymphs were expected to be productive. Hatches included some sulphurs, caddis and Cahills.
