DULUTH AREA Crappie and walleye action has picked up on Boulder Lake in six to eight feet. Look to Fish Lake for walleyes and crappies in 12 to 14 feet during low-light periods. ALEXANDRIA AREA There’s some evening walleye action on Lake Darling, Lake Carlos, Lake Le Homme Dieu, and Lake Miltona in 16 to 20 feet or Lake Ida in 24 to 26 feet. Crappies are being found suspended over 30 feet during low-light periods on Darling and Ida. On Le Homme Dieu, sunfish are going in 18 feet

LAKE MILLE LACS East – Most resorts are plowing roads and pulling fish houses. Best walleye reports are from the 23- to 25-foot gravel bars during the day or on the shallow reefs closer to shore during low-light periods. Anglers are sorting through perch and finding some jumbos in Isle Bay, Wahkon Bay, and Cove Bay
