MANKATO AREA The deep holes on the Minnesota River have started producing walleyes and catfish. LAKE MILLE LACS Slip bobbers and leeches continue to turn  walleyes at night off the flats in 30 feet or more. The crankbait bite at night is slowly improving on the shallow to mid-depth rocks, but that will get better as the water cools. During the day, a few walleyes can be had by pitching jigs
