LAKE MINNETONKA AREA On Lake Minnetonka, you’ll find sunfish on the inside weed edges and bass on the outside edges. Northern pike are hitting spinners and suckers on top of the 15- to 18-foot weeds, while walleyes are hitting floating jigs and leeches during low-light periods in 24 to 28 feet in the bigger bays

ALEXANDRIA AREA The 14- to 18-foot weedlines of Lake Miltona are giving up walleyes during the day on live bait; try crankbaits or slip bobbers and leeches during the evening hours in shallower water. DULUTH AREA Walleyes are hitting crawlers and leeches in 15 to 18 feet on Island Lake. On Fish Lake you’ll find crappies suspended over 12 to 14 feet and bluegills in 6 to 8 feet. The 6-foot rock piles on Rice Lake are giving up pike, and you’ll find bluegills in 4 to 6 feet

LAKE MILLE LACS East – Live-bait or spinner rigs tipped with leeches or crawlers continue to produce walleyes on the mud flats and deep gravel throughout the day. FAIRMONT AREA Bluegills are hitting in 3 to 6 feet on George Lake and Lake Sisseton. Bass are taking plastics around the docks on Hall Lake, Sisseton, and George, while catfish are active during the evening hours at Hall and Budd Lake.
