Southeast Minnesota Fishing Report – July 12th, 2013

Look for sunfish in 8 to 10 feet on Cedar Lake, Hunt Lake, Roberds Lake, and Shields Lake. Lake Mazaska is producing crappies and northern pike in 14 to 16 feet, while Cannon Lake will give up bass, pike, and an occasional walleye in 6 to 8 feet. The weedlines of Roberds are worth hitting for walleyes with crawlers and leeches.
Nagel’s Live Bait (507) 334-8341

Fountain Lake is producing crappies near Hatch Bridge in the evenings, walleyes on leeches in the channel, bluegills in shallow water, and catfish near the cemetery. Reports from other lakes have been limited.
