Louisiana Sets Tentative 2011-12 Migratory Waterfowl Season

Aug. 4, 2011 — The Louisiana Wildlife and Fisheries Commission (LWFC) voted to tentatively adopt proposed season dates, bag limits and shooting hours for the 2011-12 migratory waterfowl season at their Aug. 4 meeting. Louisiana Wildlife and Fisheries Commission Sets Fall Shrimp Season

Aug. 4, 2011 – Today the Louisiana Wildlife and Fisheries Commission announced the fall inshore shrimp season will open in Shrimp Management Zones 1, 2 and 3, on Monday, August 22, 2011 at 6 a.m. The commission set the season based on recommendations presented by Louisiana Wildlife and Fisheries biologists and comments from the public.
