PIERRE, SD – Despite the high water releases out of the Missouri River dams, the majority of the state recreation areas on the river remain open. All parks on Lake Oahe are open and good fishing is being reported. There is a ½ mile stretch immediately north of the Oahe Dam where boating is banned.
