Winter Fishing Report
Updated: March 28, 2011
This report highlights a few of the best places to fish, what
anglers are using and what they are catching. The information is
compiled from regional Fish and Game fishery managers, local tackle
shops and anglers.
Steelhead
You’ve got about a month to hook a steelhead before the spring
season ends. The fish are making their final push to their spawning
grounds.
Water is clear in the Clearwater, South Fork Clearwater and
North Fork Clearwater rivers. In these areas catch rates are 6
hours for every fish caught.
In the Little Salmon River the water is cloudy with angler
success at 4 hours for every fish caught.
