Spring gobbler season is off to a good start with some decent
weather, although the opening weekend was a bit damp. Hunters who
have found gobbling toms without hens have been pretty
successful.

Brook trout fishing is starting to pick up. Some ponds are
fishing very well, while other ponds are not.

Landlocked salmon are being caught on Lake Champlain, more so
than in the tributaries at last report.
