Grand Rapids, Minn. The Ruffed Grouse Society recently signed two landmark agreements that will benefit American woodcock habitat in northern Minnesota.

RGS executive director Bob Patterson signed the Woodcock Memoranda of Understanding with Boise Paper Solutions Woodland Division and with Koochiching County, Minnesota Land Department during the recent National Ruffed Grouse and Woodcock Hunt in Grand Rapids. Pecatonica suffers its second fish kill

Dodgeville, Wis. The Pecatonica River and its fishery took another hit in October when the second manure spill this year killed forage fish and game fish along a 5.6-mile stretch of river in the town of Mifflin in southwestern Iowa County. This second manure spill is believed to have occurred on Oct. 9, according to
