Brainerd, Minn. The Minnesota DNR is proposing special fishing regulations for several lakes in Crow Wing and Cass counties and has slated a public input open house for Sept. 2, from 6-8 p.m. at the DNR office in Brainerd.

Grand Rapids, Minn. The Grand Rapids DNR fisheries office has scheduled two public informational meetings to gather input on walleye regulation proposals for 10 lakes in Itasca County

Lakes being considered are Swan, Trout (near Coleraine), Splithand, Moose, Island (near Northome), Bowstring, Sand, Jessie, Round (near Squaw Lake), and Deer/Battle/Pickerel (near Effie).
