St. Paul The Migratory Bird Conservation Commission recently awarded a $1 million grant from the North American Wetlands Conservation Act to Pheasants Forever in Minnesota.

The grant was approved for the Northern Tallgrass Prairie Wetland Conservation Initiative, which includes nine partners who have pledged to complete over $21 million in habitat restoration and enhancement, easement acquisition, and fee-title acquisition over the next three years.
