COs note that trespass is the most common complaint landowners have regarding hunters. Certain types of trespass carry criminal penalties. And landowners may be able to pursue criminal action against trespassers, even if land isn’t posted. Preventative measures by landowners can prevent many of these conflicts.

St. Cloud, Minn. A youth shoot for kids between ages 12 and 17 will be held at the Del-Tone/Luth Gun Club on Sept. 14. The event is sponsored by the club, Gander Mountain, and Pheasants Forever.

There is no cost to participants. Ammunition, guns, and targets will be supplied. Participants may bring their own guns, but the guns must be cased and checked at the registration desk.
