St. Paul In an effort to avoid annual trespass complaints, the Minnesota DNR is encouraging landowners to take steps now to ensure that their lands are legally posted during upcoming hunting seasons. Guidelines for posting land are available by contactin

COs note that trespass is the most common complaint landowners have regarding hunters. Certain types of trespass carry criminal penalties. And landowners may be able to pursue criminal action against trespassers, even if land isn’t posted. Preventative measures by landowners can prevent many of these conflicts.
