Minneapolis A 5-year-old boy drowned after falling from a boat into West Rush Lake in Chisago County, authorities said last week. Grant Allen Jestus, of Blaine, fell into the lake about 5 p.m. on May 24. He was recovered two hours later in 11 feet of wat

Jestus was airlifted to Hennepin County Medical Center in Minneapolis where he died about 11 p.m. that day. The cause of death was drowning, according to the Hennepin County Medical Examiner’s office. Jestus was not wearing a life preserver, according to the Chisago County Sheriff’s Office.
