Aitkin, Minn. Crappie USA and the Aitkin Area Chamber of Commerce have announced Minnesota’s first Crappie USA Tournament scheduled for June 15 at the Farm Island Lake Resort and Campground on Farm Island Lake near Aitkin.

The event is open to semi-pros and amateurs with a cash payback to the top 20 percent of each field. For more information, call Crappie USA at (612) 377-7800 or visit their web site at www.crappieusa.com. Registration by phone is possible until the day of the event.
