Brownsville, Minn. A 400-pound black bear was shot and killed after colliding with a car in far southeastern Minnesota.

The car’s driver, from La Crosse, Wis., and her passenger were not injured in the Friday night accident on Highway 26 in Houston County near the Wisconsin border. “All the years I’ve worked, this is the first bear incident we’ve had,” said Sheriff’s Sgt.
