Brainerd, Minn. An Apple Valley, Minn., man was charged with reckless discharge of a firearm in the death of another man in a hunting accident last fall.

According to a criminal complaint, Daniel Ripka, 21, shot and killed Stephen Gilbertson, 53, while they were hunting Nov. 4 in Ponto Lake Township, about 30 miles north of Brainerd. Blaine, Minn. The Minnesota Muskie Expo will run this weekend, from Friday through Sunday, at the National Sport Center in Blaine.

Headlining the show’s seminars are speakers Jim Saric, Rich Reinert, Marv Kiley, Tony Grant, Bill Sandy, Steve Heiting, Bruce Shumway, and Dick Pearson.
