Brainerd, Minn. An Apple Valley, Minn., man was charged with reckless discharge of a firearm in the death of another man in a hunting accident last fall.

According to a criminal complaint, Daniel Ripka, 21, shot and killed Stephen Gilbertson, 53, while they were hunting Nov. 4 in Ponto Lake Township, about 30 miles north of Brainerd.
