The state duck stamp has been the same cost since 1997, while inflation and higher costs of gasoline and equipment to “build” habitat eat away at its effectiveness.
Many wildlife species depend on young forests, and work in that direction could be funded through such a stamp.
Says the minimum animal requirement is arbitrary and they can manage the herds using science, adding that starting a hunting season sooner would generate license revenue and hunter spending that could be used to help
