Salmon and trout fishing has been pretty good in the Great Lakes.
Great Lakes anglers report mixed results and mixed bags. Most were catching a combination of Chinook, coho, Atlantics, steelhead, browns and lakers.
Walleye fishing remains very good along the southeast side of the Lower Peninsula.
Fish are moving into their summer patterns across much of the state and fishing has been pretty good.
Fishing success has been all over the chart, ranging from slow to fair for salmon and trout to some fine walleye fishing.
The bite for most species has been mostly good at fisheries across the state.
This is a great time to fish the shallows of inland lakes with fly rods and poppers.
Water temperatures are slowly warming up and anglers are beginning to see some normalcy to fishing behavior.
Poor weather has been hampering fishing success. But fish are still being had – here’s where.
