It’s hands down one of the best destinations for both numbers and quality of smallmouth bass in the country.

Fish are moving into their summer patterns across much of the state and fishing has been pretty good.

Severe weather has changed things up a bit, but fish are still being caught.

Fishing success has been all over the chart, ranging from slow to fair for salmon and trout to some fine walleye fishing.

The bite for most species has been mostly good at fisheries across the state.

This is a great time to fish the shallows of inland lakes with fly rods and poppers.

The bass bite has been hot across a good part of the state. And the walleye bite remains solid on Lake Erie.

Water temperatures are slowly warming up and anglers are beginning to see some normalcy to fishing behavior.
