Yellow perch action has been very good so far this year in New York waters. However, not everyone on the lake is enjoying similar success.

Hunting is all the rage right now, but there are still fish to be had.

The hot bite has been for perch in Lake St. Clair, Saginaw Bay, Lake Huron at the Les Cheneaux Islands, and in Big Bay de Noc, to name a few.

Steelhead fishing continues to be strong on northeast Ohio tributaries when water levels and color cooperate.

Attention turning to hunting, but there are still fish to be caught.

In the southeast Lower Peninsula, yellow perch all the rage.

Still a wide variety of fishing options, with success being seen for most species.
