Fishing for catfish has been as hot as the temperatures in recent weeks.

Waters across the state continue to cool down a bit. So how’s that impacting the bite?

Water temps are finally starting to cool down, and in a big way, which appears to be helping the walleye bite. Here’s what folks are using and where they’re fishing in pursuit of those ‘eyes.

Hit your weedlines for bluegills and crappies, although several reports indicated that crappies have started suspending off deeper weed locations.

Our first real “cold front” in recent weeks, and it appears to have turned the fish on. But you need to be aggressive and flexible to tap into the action. Here’s what’s working.
