Nearly every day, we hear of some angler hooking up on a hard-fighting big chrome fish.

Mostly mixed results. Here’s what they’re catching and where they’re catching ’em.

We need some more cold (ice-making) weather. Looks like we will get some later this next week after some more warm days. That being said, the bite was really good and plenty of opportunities.

At moderate flow and good color, anglers here saw excellent steelhead action, with catches spread throughout the upper reaches.

Patterns that are putting walleye and perch on the ice right now.

Breaking down exactly how to find fish right now.

Water levels here are reportedly low and the chance for catching a brown trout is still available.

Most fishing activity is taking place in 25 to 31 feet of water. The most productive setup continues to be a jigging line paired with a deadstick.

The steelhead action by winter-time standards has been good.
