Beaverkill and Willowemoc: Both rivers were up but mostly clear. Wading was limited. Delaware East Branch: Wadeable and clear at last look. Hatches have been spotty but nymphs have worked and Caddis and black stones

Backcountry brook trout anglers were still awaiting open water at last check. Streams have opened up but remain on the chilly and high side. That said, some anglers were getting out for trout.

The saltwater temperatures remain below their normal average for this time of year and have resulted in a slow start to the flounder and striped bass season. The best flounder fishing occurred on the flats
