Adirondacks Fishing Report – November 13th, 2015
With deer season in full swing, there’s not much fishing going on and won’t be until safe ice. Deer hunters at last check were still awaiting the first stick-around snow of the season.

The striped bass fishing continued to improve in both quantity and quality. Stripers from the high teens to 40 pounds continued to be caught trolling parachute jigs or tubes on wire line off Block Island

Some good bucks continue to be reported from bowhunters as rutting activity kicks in. Not a lot of fishing going on right now, and it will stay that way until ice fishing season arrives

Beaverkill/Willowemoc: Open for fishing through Nov. 30. Delaware East Branch: Fishing above Shinhopple Bridge ended Oct. 15. The lower section stays open until Nov. 30 and is good for late-season BWO hatches for some decent

ALEXANDRIA AREA Hunter success was strong during opening weekend of the deer season with most groups seeing and shooting good numbers of deer. Waterfowl hunters are seeing more geese than ducks this week. Lake Miltona
