What’s happening on the ice in the Hayward area lakes, Chequamegon Bay and Lake Superior.

Anglers fishing out of here reported having success catching whitefish in 65 feet of water by using plastic jigs.

Above average temperatures encourage panfishermen. Here’s a look at the Wisconsin fishing report on Feb. 28, 2025.
