With a significant cold front behind the snow early last week, there hasn’t been much fishing activity.
Anglers will find 3 to 5 inches of ice on the small lakes and bays, but thinner ice on the big, deep lakes. Panfish are being caught on Bear Trap Lake in 5 to 12
With early ice, there are not a lot of bites that have stood out up to this point.
The ice-fishing season has started and reports from most areas indicated that there should be increased fishing activity this weekend.Â
