As the water temperatures continue to drop, the walleye bite is definitely heating up.
Finally some true cooling off and the fall transition is underway. What’s that mean for the bite?
The weather continues to be more like September with the wind and warmer temperatures, but despite the cooler nighttime temps, the water temps aren’t dropping as fast as they should due to the warmer daytime
Water temps are certainly cooling a bit and we’re seeing some changes. A pile of ways you can catch some fish right now.
Fishing has been a rollercoaster. But when there’s been stable weather, the bite’s been good. Water temps dipping, so fall bite is yet to come.
The shore bite continues to improve on area lakes from dusk on. The panfish bite remains strong, especially on lakes like Big Stone.
