Anglers are still hitting Lake Oahe looking for the trophy walleye, while the perch bite has been impacted somewhat by the winds and rain.
The fishing this past week was all over the place with a big cold front and cold stretch of rain. Water temps dropped drastically. Things are bouncing back nicely but we’ve had to adjust.
Cold fronts can shut down bites fast, but with the right tactics, you can adapt and stay on fish.
