The Pennsylvania Fish & Boat Commission is considering eliminating bait fishing on Penns Creek – one of the state’s best Class A wild trout streams – while launching a campaign to ensure angler access.
Spring Creek (Centre County) Good levels were reported June 21. Water was a little green and in the 50-degree range. Caddis patterns and small nymphs were catching trout. Hatches included midges (22-26) and Tan Caddis
