Catfish bite heats up with scorching temps.

Some big bass have been caught around the state, mostly on soft plastics.

Bass are biting in many waters across the state.

Northwest Clarion County Kahle Lake Anglers are catching a few Yellow Perch, good numbers of nice Bluegill, and a lot of Largemouth Bass. Piney Dam and the Upper Clarion River Anglers are catching crappies near

The panfish bite is on fire in fisheries in this region.

Crappies were hitting in Presque Isle Bay in the northwest, in Lake Wallenpaupack, in the northeast, in Loyalhanna Lake in the southwest and Blue Marsh in the southeast, and in lots of waters in between.
