High temperatures impacting the bite across the state. Here’s a look at the New York fishing report on July 18, 2024.

Nearly all anglers are having good or great outings in the Orleans County waters off the Oak.

Anglers continue to do very well on the spring brown trout bite on Lake Ontario.

There is some pretty good trolling action in the Orleans County waters at the Oak.

Smallmouth bass are being caught in the lower river here. Bass can be caught on olive and brown colored streamers along with crayfish patterns.

Trolling action out of the Oak right through the past beginning part of the weekend was real good.
