Good walleye bite going on numerous area lakes, still in fairly shallow water. Jigs and minnows and live-bait rigs, along with crawlers and minnows working well. Pretty much all species going strong.
There’s a lot of low to mid 60-degree water temperatures being reported and that seems to have allowed those shallow walleye and panfish bites to hang in there for another week.
Water temps are warming and pattens are progressing. Some weather to start the week and things forced us to slow down a bit, but everything is back on track now. Solid bluegill bite going on
The bite is starting to pick up, including the walleye bite. Here’s where they’re biting, and what’s working to catch ’em.
From south to north, crappie fishing has been strong in shallow water.
The jig bite is hot and the walleyes are biting.
