The fishing this past week was all over the place with a big cold front and cold stretch of rain. Water temps dropped drastically. Things are bouncing back nicely but we’ve had to adjust.

Despite wind and cold, walleyes are being caught. Here’s a look at the Minnesota fishing report on May 21, 2025.

Once again this week, the go-to method was a jig and a minnow over the side of the boat while anchored up or spot locked. Bright colors were the best.

We certainly had to adapt a bit but I honestly like the redirection.
