Three wildfires tore through parts of the eastern Upper Peninsula late last month, all reportedly started by lightening.
Lake St. Clair Perch fishing is improving on Lake St. Clair, and anglers have been reporting success. Those fishing with minnows are catching fish in front of the Grosse Pointe Yacht Club, off 9 Mile
Allegan Area Bluegill fishing has been good on most inland lakes in the area, including Eagle, Duck, Miner, and Scott. Perch are hitting minnows fished in 65 to 85 feet of water on Lake Michigan.
Saginaw Bay Area Walleye fishing has been good on Lake Huron’s Saginaw Bay. The best action has come to anglers fishing in 12 to 17 feet of water from the mouth of the Saginaw River
